Energy cane yield simulated by the DSSAT/CANEGRO model using climate scenarios in Teotônio Vilela, AL, Brazil

Energy cane is a sugarcane variety obtained through genetic improvement and it has higher biomass production, essential for energy generation. Mathematical models crop forecasts are excellent tools to support crops can assist in the establishment of different environments climate change scenarios. The objective this work was evaluate impacts on yield simulated by DSSAT/CANEGRO model Alagoas, Northeast Brazil. We used meteorological, soil data from field experiment conducted Teotônio Vilela/AL 2016 2017. Vertix 2, cultivated plant cycle, with planting date February 4, 2016, harvesting January 31, Climate projections (2017-2060) were based RCPs (2.6, 4.5, 6.0 8.5). showed high precision accuracy simulations values ??of 0.98 0.94 fresh matter 0.99 0.88 dry matter, d r indices, respectively.
